OVERVIEW

Mission Australia is a national Christian charity that has been helping vulnerable Australians move towards independence for 160 years. Their goal is to reduce homelessness and strengthen communities across Australia. Every day they support people by combatting homelessness, assisting disadvantaged families and children, addressing mental health issues, fighting substance dependencies, and much more. Christmas Lunch in the Park is Australia’s longest running and largest community funded Christmas event designed specifically for those most in need. 

OBJECTIVES

  1. To increase donations and volunteer registrations for CLIP2015
  2. To improve the UX/UI of the website

OUTCOMES

  1. A responsive, modern website that is in line with Mission Australia’s brand guidelines.
  2. We developed the virtual present concept, allowing for presents of different values to be purchased via the website.
  3. Users are prompted to share their purchase and a link to the site on their own social media channels when checking out.
  4. Donations increased twelve fold in the first year and more than tripled in the following year.
  5. Volunteer registrations have closed early in every year as all positions were filled.
